WAPAKONETA -- Larry E. Andrews, 76, of Wapakoneta, OH, passed away Saturday afternoon, January 28, 2023, at OSU James Hospital, Columbus, OH.
Larry was born on October 31, 1946, in Lima, OH, a son of the late C. Bernard and Ida Rose Miller Andrews.
Larry married Brenda Lowe on July 9, 1967, at Silver Creek Church and she survives along with their daughters, Amy (Lonnie) Rumer of Wapakoneta, Cindy (Dave) Scott of Alger, OH, and Julie (Bob) Bowsher of Lima, six grandchildren, Kennedy (Cody Beair) Rumer, Gauge Rumer, Gabrielle Scott, Grant Scott, Noah Bowsher, and Brayden Bowsher, and a sister, Debbie Andrews of Waynesfield, OH.
Larry was a 1964 graduate of Waynesfield-Goshen School. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in Korea during the Vietnam War. During his service, Larry was part of the 1st men's choir at Ft. Lewis, WA where he sang for many generals and dignitaries. Larry was a member of New Hampshire Community Church and served as worship leader for many years. He enjoyed gardening and fishing, eating out, and his many vacation trips to Lake Erie and Florida.
Pastor Jon Horn will begin funeral services at 11:00 am, Thursday, February 2, 2023, at Shoffstall Funeral Home, 205 S. Main St., Lakeview. Visitation is Wednesday, February 1st from 3-7 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery with military rites performed by the Wapakoneta VFW Post #8445 Honor Guard.
Memorial contributions may be given in Larry's memory to New Hampshire Community Church.

Brenda, I had hoped to come up but the logistic were not possible.
You are loved and Larry will be remembered. Spending time with you 2 was great. I hope you contact me if you or your daughters ever return to Florida.
