LIMA -- Martha Jane White was born on December 16, 1963, in Lima, OH, to the union of James C. White, Jr. and Carline (Malone) White, her father preceded her in death. She passed away on July 7, 2022, at approximately 2 pm at the age of 58, at St. Rita's Medical Center.
Martha was a graduate of Lima Senior High School after which she attended Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. She later transferred to Northwestern University in Evanston, IL where she graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering. She was employed with Arthur Andersen in Dallas, TX for several years, however, resigned from her position to pursue her passion for law. She practiced law in Chicago and the State of Illinois until her death, which would have been for over 29 years.
Martha accepted Christ as her personal Savior at an early age. Martha enjoyed cooking, traveling, and all cultural experiences such as museums, play, etc. She was an avid believer in attaining higher education and spoke to her nieces and nephews about how this was the best way to achieve all life's goals. She also shared these passions with anyone who came in contact with her.
Martha leaves to cherish her precious memories: her loving mother, Carline White; 2 sisters: Darlene Cook and Patricia White. 4 brothers: Robert (Clarissa) White, Cleaster White and Rev. Lorenzo (Erica) White all of Lima, Ohio. William (Nikol) White of Powell, OH. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

To Sis Carline and family, no words will ever express our sorrow over the passing of Martha Jane. We watched her grow from a young child to a beautiful young, successful woman who was so sweet and always greeted you with a smile. May God continue blessing you with all His grace and mercy and give you the glorious and sweet presence of His most Holy Spirit now and forevermore. We love all of you and are lifting you up to our God who can heal all sorrows.
