Dear Ones, I am so sorry to learn of Maxine´s death & sorry I couldn´t make it to the funeral home. She was my Dads first cousin, Carl H. Moore. He was named after Maxine´s Dad Carl, my Grandmother Elda Ford Moores brother. I always enjoyed visiting with her. She grew up near the Pleasant Hill Church as did my Dad. In fact most of the Church were Fords! Right across from the cemetery is where the Hill family lived. Maxine´s sister was very good friends with one of their two daughters, Marion I believe. Stanley Hill was a brother of Marion and a good friend of mine for close to 50 years. You probably aren´t aware that Maxine & Stanley lived within shouting distance almost! Isn´t it ironic that they DIED THE VERY SAME DAY! He was a bit younger. They are all gathering together in Glory rejoicing with one another. One day we will join them & have a great reunion. She has the Ford Family Tree books that I wrote many years ago also. My condolences to each of you but rejoicing because we know where she is & we will see her again. Love to all, Betty Moore Cognion

I´m so sorry to hear about Maxine (she preferred her middle name?!?!). She had the room across from me in the rehab unit until she took one of the assisted living apartments! I enjoyed the PT sessions with her!! She was an amazing person. I thought of her as the energizer bunny! She was a delightful person and I send my condolences to her family

Aunt Maxine was the sweetest lady. We always enjoyed our visits with her and when she shared old pictures of her sisters and parents. Especially fun to play bingo with her!! Rest in peace, Aunt Maxine.

One of the nicest, loving, caring persons for whom I had the blessing of being their pastor. Every conversation with Maxine was a gift. Maxine was dedicated to her family and to her church. Maxine´s memory will always be for a blessing.
