Nancy Hampp Obituary

WAPAKONETA -- Nancy E. Hampp, age 78, of Wapakoneta passed away Friday, August 22, 2025 surrounded by her family. She was born April 30, 1947 in Lima to the late Wendell M. and Mary G. (Coplin) Hampp. She had a special friend,

Jack Farsht.

Nancy was an active member of the Cridersville Church of the Nazarene.

She had retired from Stoops Freightliner after 40 years. She was a volunteer with Crime Victim Services and Chi Ki Lo food distribution.

She was an avid reader and belonged to 3 book clubs and a cat lover.

She graduated from Cridersville High School in 1965 and still enjoyed monthly lunch dates with her classmates.

Nancy is survived by a nephew, Floyd "Bill" (Rory) Hampp of Livonia, MI and three nieces, Wendi Hampp, Marianne (Chad Steinbaugh) Jackson, and Brittany (Peter) Heindel, all of Wapakoneta. She was a great-aunt to Andrew, Braxton, Micaiah, Skylin, Brock, Sarah, Rachel, and Anna. She was excited to also welcome her first great-great nephew, Vincent.

She was preceded in death by siblings Darrell Hampp and infant sisterMary Doris Hampp.

At Nancy's request private family services will be held at a later date.
