TROY, MO -- Peg (Margaret) Jean Studebaker.
Peg was born to Bud (Alvin) and Shirley (Hoyt) Duling in Ottawa, OH. Peg married Virgil Studebaker on January 9, 1988. Their son, Todd (Jami) Studebaker of Wentzville, MO added four grandchildren to the family; Dominic (Hannah) Studebaker of Moscow Mills, MO, Kris (Megan) Studebaker of Moscow Mills, MO, Raiden (Caleb) Diaz of Virginia Beach, VA and Barret Studebaker of Wentzville, MO. G-Ma and G-Pa joined the kids in Troy, MO, and soon the Greats; Paisley, Rome, Reese and Lincoln, started arriving.
Peg grew up in Glandorf and graduated from Ottawa-Glandorf High School. She graduated from Ohio State University with a degree in Industrial Engineering. Virgil and Peg enjoyed traveling to antique car shows. They also enjoyed camping with their RV. Peg had a lifelong love of gardening and preserving her harvest. Virgil and Peg loved spending time with their family and friends.
Peg is preceded in death by Bud and her brother Keith Duling. Peg is survived by her husband, mother, son, grandkids and the greats. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Joe Duling, Findlay, OH, Pam (Dave) Zinsmeister, Gurnee, IL, Don Duling, Leipsic, OH, Greg (Kathy) Duling, Silver Springs, MD and Chris (Sam) Walther, Leipsic, OH. Virgil's brother Robert (Becky) Studebaker, Raymond, NE, and sister Lynda (Ron) McGill, Waverly, NE. She also has many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
There will be a Celebration of Peg's Life at the Ottawa Eagles on January 31, 2026, from 12 PM - 5 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
