I will always remember Phil Krouskop with a degree of admiration. His brother Paul was a superlative musician, director and educator, and Phil was equally committed to quality instruction and coaching in the classroom and on the ball diamond. Both men headed top programs for decades because of their work ethic and unwavering commitment to the young people in their charge. As educators, none of us are perfect, but I doubt that any Perry High School student lucky enough to be in Phil's class, or on Phil's team will ever question his drive and support for them to achieve. Phil could always be counted upon to care deeply. You left your mark Coach.....

Phil was a great student, teacher, athlete, coach and friend. I enjoyed meeting him at Bob Evans for breakfast and having him over for pizza and chit chat. I will remember him as a wonderful, decent person.

Had the pleasure of knowing PHIL dating back to 1962 at Bluffton College. Phil was a wonderful friend and man to all who knew him. He was a Christian who lived his faith in all that he did on a daily basis. So sad that he is gone but we know where he is for eternity! GOD bless you Phil!
