COLUMBUS -- Raymond E. McDonald, Jr. 61, of Columbus, formerly of Lima, passed away on Monday, September 2, 2024, at 2:17 pm, at Riverside Methodist Hospital.
Raymond was born August 14, 1963 in Lima, OH, to Raymond and Delpha (Rein) McDonald who both preceded him in death.
Raymond graduated from Bath High School in 1982. In his younger years he was a member of Elida Volunteer Fire Department. Raymond enjoyed watching the Ohio State Buckeyes, Cincinnati Bengals and Cincinnati Reds.
Raymond is survived by his sister, Becky Hoover of Orient, OH, nephew, Mason Hoover of Orient, OH, uncle, John (Chong) McDonald of Lima, OH, and aunt, Harlene Rein of Wilmington, OH. He will also be dearly missed by numerous cousins.
He preceded in death by his siblings, Donald Ray McDonald and Karen Ann McDonald.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at 2:00pm at Chiles - Laman Funeral Homes, Eastside Chapel. Pastor Brad Taylor to officiate the service. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery following the service.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 from 12:00pm until the time of the service at the Eastside Chapel.
