Dick was such a great guy. I will never forget when my grandson was in grade school and he was on his way home from school and he lost his necklace that grandpa Denny had given to him. He loved that necklace so much. His mom went to school and said if it was found to please call them. 2 weeks went by when Dick was walking his dog. He looked down and he said something was shining. He found the necklace. He took it to the school and right away they knew who it belonged to. The family will never forget that day. So grateful to him and to this day my grandson still wears it everyday. His grandpa is gone now but he will always have his necklace to remember him. Thanks to Dick.

Dick was a great guy. He and my brother, Spanky McNamara, worked together at LPD. Lots of stories between the 2! My condolences to the family.

Dick was a great guy and a wonderful bailiff at the Lima Municipal Court. He was always a pleasure to be with and my sympathy goes out to his wife and family.

I think I first met Dick at Grace Methodist Church in Lima. We both went to Lima Senior High school but he was a year ahead of me. We kept touch over the years and we always visited when I came back to Lima for a High School reunion. Easy going nice man. Going to miss you. RIP
