LAKEVIEW - Ronald Lee Hulsmeyer, Sr., 83, of Lakeview, OH passed away Tuesday afternoon, February 7, 2023, at Indian Lake Rehabilitation Center.
Ronald was born on November 16, 1939, in Swanders, OH, a son of the late Lester and Opal Galbreath Hulsmeyer.
He was preceded in death by two children, Lee Frost, and Mary Frost, a sister, Barbara Miller, and brothers-in-law, Don Long, Jon Boltz, Jim Boltz, and Shelby Snyder.
Ron married Jodi Boltz Frost on January 11, 1991, in Waynesfield, OH and she survives.
He is also survived by six children, Ronald (Linda) Hulsmeyer, Jr. of Tampa, FL, Randall (Julia) Hulsmeyer of Vandalia, OH, Stefnay (Jack) Dick of Kenton, OH, Robert Frost of Springfield, OH, Danielle Frost and Terry (Natosha) Frost, both of Russells Point, OH, Sixteen grandchildren, Jaimee (Seb) Hulsmeyer, Jeremy (Toni) Hulsmeyer, Trevor (Libby) Cole, Lorie Dick, Christina (Robby) Curl, Robert Frost, Jr., Rebecca (Dustin) Blew, Jacob (Randy) Frost, Shane Matthews, Andrea (Will) Savage, Kayleigh (Isaiah) Heitkamp, Derick Curl, Madalynn Heitkamp, Payton Frost, Kaydence Frost and AJ Frost, 29 great grandchildren, six siblings, Anna Long of Sidney, OH, Judy Miller of Lima, OH, Bob Miller of Waynesfield, Don (Ann) Hulsmeyer of Botkins, OH, Dick (Kathy) Hulsmeyer of Bucyrus, OH, and Dale (Tonya) Hulsmeyer of Wapakoneta, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ron owned and operated Quality Carpet. He was a member of Grace Chapel Christian Union Church in Santa Fe. Ron was a skilled musician who enjoyed playing guitar and singing. Also, He was a highly skilled carpenter and enjoyed woodworking. He loved spending time with family and friends.
Pastor Ed Shady will begin funeral services at 4:00 pm, Saturday, February 11, 2023, at Grace Chapel Christian Union Church in Santa Fe with visitation from 2-4 pm. Inurnment will be at a later date in Huntsville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in Ron's memory to Grace Chapel Christian Union Church or Universal Home Health and Hospice Care.
