Robert Reeder Obituary
LIMA -- Robert Junior Reeder, age 75, passed from this life on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at approximately 7:47 pm while a patient of St. Rita's Medical Center here in Lima.
He was born on May 3, 1947 in Lima, Ohio to the union of Homer and Nettie Mae Williams Reeder. Both parents preceded him in death. On May 28, 1969 he was united in Holy Matrimony to Gloria L. Downton who survives in Lima, Ohio.
Mr. Reeder was employed at Ford Motor Co. in the production department. He was a member of Cornerstone Harvest Church. He was also a member of U.A.W. Local #1219, Juneteeth Committee and the N.A.A.C.P.
Besides his loving wife Gloria he leaves to cherish his precious memory 2 Sons: Robert L. Reeder of Las Vegas, NV. And Kendrae L. Reeder (LaDasha) of Cincinnati, Ohio. 2 Daughters: Carlotta Y. Reeder-Williams of Columbus, Ohio and Latalsha D. Reeder of Lima, Ohio. 7 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. 2 Sisters: Ida L. Phillips (Billy) and Charlotte Moore both of Lima. 2 Sister-in-Laws: Betty Henry and Lula Reeder. A host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by 3 Brothers: Everett Moore, Jimmy Reeder and Douglas Henry. 1 Sister: Yvonne Moore.
Home going services will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Cleven Jones officiating. Visitation will be held 10:00 am until time of services also at the church
Interment: Woodlawn Cemetery Church.

We were so very sad to hear of the passing of Bobby. He was a true friend and was always kind to everyone he met. To his family, take heart knowing that he is safe in the arms of our Father God; and was welcomed by family and friends who preceded him in death.
