Robert Wright Obituary
LIMA -- Robert E. "Dr. Bob" Wright, age 68, went home to be with his loved ones who passed before him at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at his home with his wife by his side.
Bob was born March 21, 1954, in Lima, Ohio to the late Boucher H. Wright and Mary Lou (Ziegenbusch) Wright Sidner. On February 3, 2000, he married Marilyn J. (Lundy) Wright.
Bob was a 1974 graduate of Shawnee High School. He was currently employed by Vorst Paving in Cloverdale, Ohio and had previously tended bar at Ray's Place and Arnold's. Bob was a Harley Davidson enthusiast and loved to ride. He was a member of the U.S. Patriots Motorcycle Club. Bob was well loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Marilyn J. Wright; son, Tyler (Kelly) Wright; two granddaughters, Brooke Wright and Lexi Wright; sister, Judy (Terry) Schaaf; and step dad, Ross Sidner; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a step-daughter, Rachel Thompson.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 23, 2022, at CHILES - LAMAN FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, EASTSIDE CHAPEL. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, April 22, at the funeral home.

So very sorry. Just heard today. My heart aches. He was one of the reasons I came to the Toy Run. Ride high with your brothers and sisters who have gone before you. My memory of Dr. Bob is our squabbles over the Ohio Michigan games..me being the Michigan fan...I'll miss him asking what I wanted to bet. And him overall being a great person...RIH DR. BOB.

This is sad news for everyone who knew & loved "Dr. Bob". I met him years ago through my brother (Mark). It was always fun to run into him & Myrt 'out & about' the town!! Fun times and lots of laughs! Myrt - I know you have a million great memories that will make you smile again & again!
