PRESCOTT, AZ -- Roger A. Beckman, passed away peacefully at Pleasant Valley Care Home in Prescott Arizona on Wednesday July 2, 2025 after a lengthy illness. Roger was born on October 17, 1961 in Lima Ohio to Elmer and Mildred (Beining) Beckman.
Roger is survived by brothers; Dan (Pat) Beckman of Beavercreek Ohio and Gerry Beckman of Higgins Lake Michigan, sisters; Joyce (Ed) Maenle of Winter Springs, Florida, Carol (Ed) Weilacher of Delphos Ohio and Louise (Steve) Martin of Elida Ohio and many nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by parents, Elmer and Mildred Beckman. He was also preceded in death by his stepmother Jane Beckman.
While living in Delphos, Roger was a devoted employee of I & K Distributors in the early years of the company. Upon arrival in Prescott, he was employed by Walmart and several local restaurants. Roger lived in Prescott Arizona for 17 years but always maintained close ties with his family and friends in Ohio. Roger was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes football fan. Roger was always helping others in need and he enjoyed being of service to others. Although his life was not without struggles, he maintained a steadfast and devotion to Jesus Christ. Roger wanted to be remembered for helping anyone in need; he enjoyed being of service to others.
The family extends their deep appreciation to Yvonne and Mark Hoskins and all of the staff of Pleasant Valley Care Home for their warm and loving care for Roger. We also want to thank the staff of Angels Care Hospice of Prescott for their care.
A funeral mass will be held on Monday July 14, 2025 at 10:00 AM. in the St. John's Evangelist Church with burial to follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Weber Funeral Home in Delphos Sunday July 13, 2025 from 2-5 PM.
Memorial contributions are to be made to the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society, Pleasant Valley Care Home in Prescott AZ., or the Delphos St. John's Teachers Endowment Fund.
