RUTH LAMMERS
LEIPSIC — Ruth M. Lammers, 93, of Leipsic, died 3:10 p.m., Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at the Meadows of Leipsic.
She was born, May 16, 1921, in Leipsic, to the late George and Frances (Lammers) Gores. On November 11, 1941, she married Amos Lammers. He died October 29, 1999.
Surviving are 2 sons: Eugene Lammers and Kevin Lammers, both of Leipsic; and 2 sisters: Helen Hoffman of Columbus Grove and Anna Mae (Hans) Bruns of Dublin.
She was also preceded in death by 3 daughters: Joan Lammers, Jeanette Lammers and Doris Lammers; a brother: Karl (Kate) Gores; a sister: Evie (Charles) Holtgreven and a brother-in-law: Ray Hoffman.
Ruth was a homemaker and enjoyed bingo, playing cards and crocheting. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic and its Altar Rosary.
A Mass of Christian burial will begin at 10:30 a.m., Friday, August 29, 2014 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic with the Very Reverend George Wenzinger officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m., Thursday at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic where a rosary service will begin at 7:30 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
