SUE BUTLER
LIMA — Sue Ann (Masters) Butler, 54, was called into the presence of the Lord, 6:45 a.m. Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at Lima Memorial Health System.
Sue was born March 1, 1961 in Lima, to Merlin M. and Charlotte S. (Hurst) Masters who survive in Lima. On April 30, 2010 she married Michael S. Butler.
Sue was a 1979 graduate of Perry High School. She retired from the Allen County Sanitary Engineers Office. Sue was a proud wife, mom, grandma, daughter, and sister, who dedicated her life to her daughter, Nicole and granddaughter, Mariyah Monroe - "her best girls in the world". She loved shopping, eating out with her husband and grandmother, and spending time with her friends, especially Carole and Ty Cook. Sue enjoyed crocheting blankets for all her friends, planting flowers, and spoiling her beloved dog, "Bentley".

Survivors include: husband, Michael S. Butler, of Lima, daughter & son-in-law, Nicole Renee (Joe) Moor of Lima, granddaughter, Mariyah Monroe Moor, and one on the way; brother and sister-in-law, Steven B. (KiKi) Masters, of Lima; in-laws, Jan D. (Debbie) Butler of Lima, and Vicki (Robert) Bigelow of Lima; grandmother, Zora Masters of Lima; brother-in-law, Danny (Leah) Butler of LaFayette, sister-in-law, Nichole (David) Fyffe of Elida, sister-in-law, Jodi (Michael) Hicks, of Lima, and sister-in-law, Julie (Kyle) Monfort, of Lima; Uncle Sam Steiner, Uncle Paul Masters, Uncle Earl (Peg) Masters, Aunt Robin (Steve) Flanagan, Uncle Truman Partin, Aunt Wanda Lake, Aunt Nora Hurst, Uncle Dewey (Ruth) Hurst, Aunt Sharon Hurst; and former in-laws, Carroll and Barbara Shoemaker.
She was preceded in death by: a niece, Mariah Michelle Masters, grandfather, Foster M. Masters, grandparents, John and Cleo Hurst; Aunt Deana Steiner, Uncle Onder (Helen) Hurst, Aunt Joyce Partin, Uncle Chalmer Lake, Uncle Toy Hurst, Aunt, Hazel (George) Nash, Uncle Jerry Hurst; and first husband, Steven L. Shoemaker.
Services will begin 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 23, 2015 at Cable Road Alliance Church, 2264 N. Cable Rd., Lima, Ohio 45807. Pastor Richard Jueckstock will officate. Entombment will follow in Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Friends may call from 1:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Sunday, March 22, 2015, at CHILES - LAMAN FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, SHAWNEE CHAPEL and one hour prior to the funeral at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Cook Family Benefit @ Superior Federal Credit Union, or The Lima Rescue Mission, 216 E. Wayne Street, Lima, Ohio 45801.
