RIMER — Susan "Sue" G. Koester, 64, died Thursday, December 9, 2021, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima, Ohio. She was born on October 4, 1957, in Lima, to John "Herb" and Naomi "Pat" (Leary) Bryan. They both preceded her in death.
On June 2, 1979, she married Terry R. Koester, who survives near Rimer.
Sue is survived by her two brothers; Jim (Teresa) Bryan and Mike (Leah) Bryan; nieces and nephews, Dustin (Jenny) Bryan, Mandi (Brad) Ellerbrock, along with her great nieces and nephews, John and Dillon Bryan, Cambrie, Maci, Trey and Cruz Ellerbrock who will all miss her.
She was a graduate of Columbus Grove High School, class of 1976. After graduation Sue worked as a secretary/receptionist with the Tupperware Distribution Warehouse, Lima. She then went to work at Ellis Enterprises, Lima, as a secretary, after which Sue went to work as a medical assistant for Laux Chiropractic, Elida.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Ft. Jennings and the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #199, Lima. In her retirement, Sue enjoyed crafts, working outside in her flowers, garden and doing yard work. She loved times spent with her family and friends.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, December 12, 2021, and from 10:00 a.m. until time of service on Monday at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove,
Services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 13, 2021, at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, with Pastor Tom Craig and Pastor Bill Spencer, co officiating. Burial will follow at Vaughnsville Cemetery, Vaughnsville, Ohio.
Memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Worrier Fund.

So sorry to hear of Sue's passing. I prayed she would recover but God had a different plan. My sympathy goes out to Sue's entire family and hope they can find comfort in memories
