Susan Ricker

1946 - 2023

LIMA - Susan K. Ricker, 77, of Lima passed away peacefully at 10:45 PM on Friday, October 20, 2023, at Springview Manor Nursing Home.

She was born on July 10, 1946, in Lima to Louis and Ruth (Snavley) Quinn, who both preceded her in death.

She had been married to Ronald Ricker, who preceded her in death.

Sue graduated from Lima Central Catholic High School and attended Mary Manse College in Toledo. She had worked in many rolls in the administration at Lima Central Catholic High School for 31 years, retiring in 2012. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Sue was avid fan of all Lima Central Catholic Athletics and worked wherever needed at most of them. She also traveled to many away games to show her support.

Surviving are her children Rhonda (Mike) Davisson, Todd (Leigh Taylor) Ricker and Brad (Amy) Ricker, her grandchildren Rachael, Molly and Carter Davisson, Logan and Mason Ricker, Grant and Adam Ricker and Paige Taylor. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her brother David Louis Quinn and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Shawnee Chapel.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Shawnee Chapel with Fr. David Kidd officiating. Interment in Gethsemani Cemetery will immediately following the funeral home services.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Fr. Herr Scholarship Fund.
