Thomas Feltz Obituary
LIMA -- Thomas Eugene Feltz, 85 of Lima, passed away December 17, 2022, at Lima Memorial Hospital. Tom was born August 7, 1937 in Delphos to Marvin and Emma (Wurm) Feltz, who preceded him in death.
On August 31, 1957, he married Myrna (Huffer) Feltz, who preceded him in death on November 5, 2016. Tom worked at Ford Motor Company for 36 years until his retirement in 2001 and he was a member of the Lima Eagles Aerie 370 for 55 years. He enjoyed working in his garden and square dancing with the Hicks and Chicks in Maysville. Tom was a family man who always supported and spent time with the ones he loved.
He is survived by his sons, Carl E. (Jody) Feltz, Rodney E. (Beth) Feltz, and Gary E. (Heather) Feltz; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife and parents, Tom is preceded in death by his sons, Bruce E. Feltz and Mark E. Feltz; a great-grandson, Benjamin Allen and his siblings, Mary Katherine Wollum, Jeanne Boerger and Donald Feltz.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at St. Charles of Borromeo Catholic Church with Father Kent Kaufman to officiate the service. Burial will follow in Gethsemani Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Shawnee Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Charles of Borromeo Catholic Church. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.chiles-lamanfh.com.
