LIMA — Wanda Maxine Stein, 94, of Lima passed away 6:28 p.m. Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at Elmcroft of Lima. She was born on February 2, 1923 in Celina, Ohio to Elmer and Nellie (Stetler) Brock and they preceded her in death. On March 24, 1944 she married Donald L. Stein and he passed away on October 12, 2000.
Mrs. Stein is survived by her children, Donna (Roy) Rizor of Lima, Nancy (Jerry) Denham of Nancy, KY, Karen (David) Mefferd of Lima, Linda (Ed) Layman of Union City, OH, Pamela Musto of Lexington, KY and Jerry (Sharon) Stein of Lima. She is also survived by twenty one grandchildren, fifty one great grandchildren and twelve great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a son-in-law, Reynold Musto a sister Rose Ann Kinnison, a great grandchild, and a great- great grandchild.
Mrs. Stein was a wonderful homemaker, wife and mother. She was a member of the Gardendale Church of God, VFW Post 1275 Auxiliary and belonged to the Lima Senior Citizens.
Funeral services will be conducted 4:00 p.m. Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home, the Rev. Brad Taylor will officiate. Burial to be held on Monday at the Allentown Cemetery.
Family and friends may call Saturday, January 6, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. until time of the service at 4:00 p.m. Online condolences can be made at www.siferd-oriansfuneralhome.com.
