Sorry to hear about your loss. Jack and Shirley were friends with my grandparents, Bill and Norma Smith. I remember when I was little and they would come and visit. He was always a nice man! Your family is in our prayers!

Our very deepest sympathy to Jack's loved ones who must endure one of life's toughest heartaches - the loss of a spouse and parent, in this case a man who knew how to light up a room. Jack never knew a stranger and very rarely would not notice or speak to that stranger. God Bless you Jack.

He was a master at making those around him comfortable and well entertained...customer and co-worker alike. We were goofing around one day and I asked if he wanted a hot coffee or cold drink of some kind? He paused and said "No,I just had a Junebug and a bar of Lifeboy soap...I'll be OK, but thanks anyway. I'm still laughing to this day. I guess you had to be there, but you see... He gave me one of my life's greatest memories. Thank you Jack.

I'm so sorry to learn about Jack. I had known him for most of my life and my son, Josh absolutely loved Jack. He and Shirley lived next door to my parents, on Ottawa St, for several years. My prayers go out to all of the family.

I waited on Jack and Shirley on Wednesday nights at the Country Aire in Atlanta. They always requested me and were so kind and generous. My Wednesday nights will never be the same without you Jack, it was a pleasure having known you.
