Judith "Judy" May 1935 - 2020
Lincoln, IL—Judith "Judy" May, 85, of Lincoln, IL passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2020 at Decatur Memorial Hospital, in Decatur, Illinois.
Judy was born on March 10, 1935 in Middletown, Illinois. The daughter of Andrew and Lena (Sheneman) Mason. She married Donald "Pete" May on January 1, 1954 in Middletown, IL. Donald preceded her in death on October 14, 2014.
Judy is survived by her children, Donald E. May Jr. of Novi, MI, and Tammy Rich-Miley (EJ Miley Jr) of Lincoln, IL; her grandson, Cade Rich; her great-granddaughter, Taylor Rich; her great-great-grandchildren, Atley and Kaysleigh; her brother, Paul (Ellen) Mason; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Judy is preceded in death by her husband, Donald; her siblings, Nick (Wanda) Mason, Ed (Margaret) Mason, Frank (Helen) Mason, Bob (Georganne) Mason, Pat (Carol) Mason, Helen (Sam) Greco, Betty (Bob) Smith, Ruth (Bill) Killion, Hazel (John) Peters, Dorthea (Jim) McElderry, and Carolyn (Bill) Johnson.
Judy worked for Stetson China and retired from Lehn and Fink in Lincoln; she also sold real estate for many years with Werth & Associates Realtors.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, December 11, 2020 at New Union Cemetery in Lincoln, IL. Memorial donation may be made in Judy's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Lincoln Christian Church, or The American Diabetes Association. Services have been entrusted to Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln, IL.
