Bertha Couch Obituary
A devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, Bertha was a longtime member of Belleview Baptist Church. She found joy in life's simple pleasures-reading, tending to her garden full of flowers, cooking, and spending time with her family and grandchildren. She loved good conversation about politics and could always be found sharing a thoughtful word or a laugh with those around her. Bertha also had a special place in her heart for her dog, Dexter, and she adored pugs.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raleigh Couch; her son, Raleigh "Bim" Couch; her daughter, Sharon Couch; and her granddaughter, Halie Guelfi. Bertha is survived by her children: Jim (Lisa) Couch, Larry (Cindy) Couch, and Dawn (Tom) Lilley; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Boone County Animal Shelter, an organization close to Bertha's heart. A celebration of life will be held Monday, November 24, from 3:00 – 5:00pm at Belleview Baptist Church. Online condolences can be left at www.LInemannFuneralHomes.com
