LARRY LAMBERT

LARRY LAMBERT 03/29/1946 - 08/05/2025 Larry Gene Lambert (Pissy), 79, the son of Marvin Edgar Lambert and Betty June White, was born on March 29, 1946. in Purdin, Mo. Larry passed away on August 5, 2025, at 9:50 a.m. peacefully at home surrounded by his family. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin Lambert and Betty White. He is survived by his daughter Shawna Renee Williams (David) of Brookfield and his son Marvin Shane Lambert of Brookfield; his six grandchildren, Blake (Rachel), Dylan, and Ashtin Williams of Brookfield, McKenna Horton (Wade), Mallory, and Macy Lambert of Meadville; six great-grandchildren, Jackson, Aubree, Jaxon, Jett, JD, and Kolson, all of Brookfield; as well as his siblings, Susie Murrell (John) of Linneus; Judy Morgan (Carl) of Wheeling; Shirley Birkeness (Bob) of Holt; Mickey Norwood of Lubbock, Texas; and Butch Dawson (Ellen) of Watervalley, Texas; along with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Larry enjoyed riding side by sides, playing cards, telling stories with his family and friends, watching/attending rodeos, and in his younger years, riding horses. He was a member of Laclede Sportsman Club for many years. He worked on a ranch in Texas, the rock quarry, as well as traveling while driving a semi. Larry served in the Army from 1966-1968. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution can be made to Meadville Cemetery or Purdin Cemetery and may be left at or mailed to Wright Funeral Home, P.O. Box 496, Brookfield, MO 64628. Please do not send flowers. Celebration of Life will be held on August 16, 2025, at 5 p.m. in Lambert's building in Laclede, Mo. Please join us to celebrate Pissy!
