MARK THOMAS EWIGMAN Mark Thomas Ewigman, age 63 of Marceline, died Saturday, February 18, 2023, at his home. Mark was born in Marceline, Missouri on August 28, 1959 to Leo W. and Florence J. (Marek) Ewigman. He married Linda Dodd on October 7, 1978 at Marceline. Mark was a graduate of Marceline R5 High School in 1978. He attended the Macon Vocational School of Welding and had worked for AZZ Welding Services retiring in 2014. He was a journeyman of Local #83 out of Kansas City, Missouri. He loved his brothers of the boilermaker trade, trained many men and was a respected Boilermaker. He was a member of the St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Council 9208 and the Marceline Eagles Lodge. Mark was an avid gardener, taking great pride in his garden and yard. He loved canning green beans and putting up sweet corn. He had an amazing ability to fix just about anything, even through his cancer journey he was always working on a project. Mark loved life, his family, friends and God. Jesus was a number one in his life, he had great faith and loved God. He was loved by all and was a beloved father, brother, son and grandfather. He adored his three grandchildren and enjoyed all their sports and activities. Mark is survived by his wife Linda of the home in Marceline, his mother Florence Ewigman of Marceline, two sons, Brian Ewigman and Sandra of Marceline, Eric Ewigman and Christian of Kearney, three grandchildren, Alex Ewigman of Marceline, Garrett and Adrienne Ewigman of Kearney, five brothers, John Ewigman, Steve and Rose Ewigman, all of Marceline, David and Janelle Ewigman of Lee's Summit, Richard and Karlene Ewigman of Centralia, and Kenny and Lisa Ewigman of Marceline, sister Cheryl and David Stallo of Columbia, sister-in-law Leslie Walker of Jackson, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, brother Randy Ewigman and granddaughter Ella. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in Marceline with burial in St. Bonaventure Cemetery, Marceline. Visitation will be held from 5-8 PM Monday, February 20, 2023 at St. Bonaventure Church. Memorials may be made to Saving Every Victim or St. Bonaventure Catholic Church and mailed to Delaney Funeral Home 1720 N. Missouri Ave., Marceline, MO 64658.
