Sean Mohan Obituary
Died unexpectedly on June 25th 2021 at home in Royal Oak Michigan. Born in Detroit, March 4th 1978 raised in Rochester Hills. He is survived by his Mother Mary Kay Mohan, Aunt Theresa Mohan, Uncles John, Patrick and Michael, many cousins, great cousins, close friends , chef friends, with many thanks to his friend mentor Chef Eunan Campbell of Ireland. Sean was known for his passion for music, outdoor adventures and most of all his love for cuisine! Well respected throughout the greater Detroit chef community he embraced and advanced the technique and training of many. A private family service will be held. A Celebration of his life will be done at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Capuchin Kitchen in Detroit

I remember Sean being part of a great culinary team at the Inn at St. Johns. I enjoyed his fresh corn chowder that tasted sweet like raw honey! Always a team player for front & back of the house staff. It's the small things we will remember most about him. Condolences to his family!

I met Sean at The Townsend Hotel. I was very new and he asked where I had worked before I said The Inn at St. John´s. He helped me feel comfortable in uncharted territories and we stayed in touch through work here and there. I loved seeing him doing good! I´m saddened by this! He had so much to give. His memories will go on and last he was a great guy!!

Sean We worked together for many years. We had fun during work and after work. You and Chef Eunan we´re a a Force to be reckon with. I enjoyed watching you guys work and having fun with you outside of work. I miss you so much I enjoyed staying in touch with me over the years and was always wanting the best for you. I´ll never forget that time I ran into you and Royal Oak unexpectedly and we just hugged and reminisced about the past. I will miss you my friend.

Mrs. mohan im am so sorry for your loss I only knew Sean for a few years now but he was truest one of the nicest people I have ever met a true friend if I´ve ever met one after only the first time meeting him he embraced me like we had been friends for years I´ll never forget him he was a great man!!!!!

Mrs. Mohan, my most sincere and deepest sympathies to you and Sean´s family. I worked with Sean at The Townsend and The Westin Book Cadillac. We kept in touch through the years and I am absolutely heart broken to read this. We went through some crazy times together and I will miss not being able to reminisce, razz or BS with him. Much love and sympathy.
