Juan Torres Obituary

Mr. Juan Luis Torres, 59, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Tuesday, March 19, 2024.

He was preceded in death by his father, Felix V. Torres; sisters, Maria Eugenia Castelar and Martha Tijerina.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, David Torres, Melissa Torres (Jose A. Peña Jr.); mother, Maria Eugenia Torres Medina; siblings, Ana Luisa Torres, Felix Salvador (Eliza) Torres, Maria Hilaria (Mario) Molina, Olga L. (Adrian) Valdez; and the mother of his children, Adriana Torres. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and other loving relatives and many friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Saturday morning, March 23, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services, 719 Loring at Cortez.

The funeral procession will depart the same morning at 9:30 a.m. from Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels to St. Joseph Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m.

Pallbearers will be: David Torres, Christopher Juarez, Mario Molina Jr., Ray James Aguirre, Miguel Angel Valdez, Adrian U. Valdez Jr., Felix S. Torres, and Danny Ray Barrera.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
