Robert Rodriguez Obituary
Robert was known for his compassionate and dedicated work in his support staff role and commitment to the well-being of children was evident in his daily efforts at CPS.
Outside of work, Robert was actively involved in the Men's Act Retreat, a community organization that aimed to support personal growth and spiritual development among men. He found solace and comfort in the camaraderie and shared values of this group, forging lifelong friendships along the way.
He was preceded in death by his father Oscar Rodriguez, Jr.; paternal grandparents, Oscar Rodriguez and Anita M. Rodriguez; maternal grandparents, Octavio Salinas and Alicia Salinas.
Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Jean Salinas; his daughter Felicity Rodriguez; siblings, Oscar E. Rodriguez, and Analicia R. (Marcelo) Galvan, Jr.; nieces and nephews, Michael E. Rodriguez, Jean Rodriguez, Marcelo (Jenny) Galvan, III., and Issa Galvan; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
The family will be receiving condolences on Monday morning, January 15, 2024 from 8:30 to 11 a.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Chapel Service will commence at 10 a.m.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday morning, January 15, 2024 departing at 11 a.m. from Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels to the Rite of Committal and Interment at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
