VERONICA CENA Obituary
She fought hard and valiantly, even when she lost her hair, she proudly showed her battle. Her smiles were endless and her laughter always contagious; they will be forever missed by her family and her many, many, friends. She had a personality that was instantly loved by all. A movie buff at heart, and she loved her music just as much. She was always ready to help anybody, in any way she could. As our hearts ached, God had His plan for our beautiful Ronnie, and left us in the most peaceful way, to His magnificent Heaven. Thank you Lord for letting us have her for 49 wonderful years.
Ronnie is survived by her beloved Husband, Javier Cena Jr. (Javie), Mother - Esther Mandujano, Father - Jorge L. Negrete, Brother - Jorge L. Negrete Jr. (Erika), Sister - Tracy Cantu (Rosie), Father & Mother-in-law - Javier & Yolanda Cena Sr., Brother-in-law - Daniel Cena (Selina), Sister-in-law- Amanda Cena (Brandi), and her fur baby Otis, who was always by her side until the end. A special thank you to Ronnie's cousin, Delilah Weinert and her best friend, Ronnie Bustamante, for all the help and support in making Ronnie's last wishes come true. Her wishes would not have happened without you.
Our thanks to The Next Oncology Clinic Staff of Santa Rosa Christus Hospital, for their wonderful care, and also to Trinity Hospice, for all the assistance they provided us, both in San Antonio.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Dec 2, 2022, from 4 pm to 9 pm, at the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave., in Laredo, TX. Committal services will be held on a later date.
