Mr. Koth was an excellent teacher with broad knowledge of government and politics who definitely strengthened my interest in civics and public affairs. Sincere condolences to his family and loved ones.

Mr. Koth was an effective teacher by example of a good man for boys becoming young men. He taught us rules and consequences. Those boys to whom he gave swats were honored with the privilege of signing the paddle. Mr. Koth honored us all with good examples in honorable actions and in honorably accepting just punishment when we transgressed.

Mr Koth was a fabulous teacher. Last week, while I was out hiking with some of my fellow teachers and yet unaware of his passing, I reflected on his great generousity, for he took us on those great hikes for Sierra Quest, and in doing so, we redefined our prespective about that magnificent range and of ourselves.
I now am dedicated to teaching and he has definitely made a lasting influence for me. I admire his steadfast persistence, yet kindness of getting his message across. As a student, I always felt that I knew where I stood with him, and that his passion and dedication were genuine, especially when his voice would slightly lilt when highlighting an important point.
I would like to go on about my shared passion of the wilderness, but the events of the last few years have reminded me also of what I learned in his classroom of law and history, in learning about the creation of our Constitution and its content, as well as the social and historical events that have shaped its development, amendment and application.
I am very fortunate to have had Bob Koth for a teacher.
My condolences to his family in these moments, he will be sorely missed.

My condolences to the family of Bob. Bob and I taught together at Woodbridge school. He was a very conscientious teacher. Bob and my brother Marvin were Alpha Kappa Lama fraternity brothers at U.O.P. He always liked to talk about his cross country skiing adventures. He had a good life of adventure. Teachers that he knew at Woodbridge school will miss him.
