Brett Paolinelli Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Brett Paolinelli. Brett passed away unexpectedly at his home in Henderson Nevada on March 14, 2023. He was 46 years old. Brett is survived by his children, Quinn (17), Ethan (15), and Arya (12) all of Henderson Nevada; his father Randy Paolinelli of Stockton, mother Scottie Ortiz of Santa Maria, brother Evan Paolinelli of Oakland, and several members of his extended family, and many friends.
Brett was born in Lodi on October 4, 1976. He attended St. Anne's Catholic School (K-8) and graduated from Lodi High School in 1994. He also attended Delta Community College and CSU Long Beach. Brett was a standout in swimming and received several honors as a standout in water polo. He served a short time as the coach for the first women's water polo team at Lodi High School. He married Amy Bissonnette in 2004. She continues to mother their three children. Brett was a successful sales and management representative for several companies in the wine and spirits industry for over 12 years.
Brett will always be remembered as a generous man, full of life, and respectful of all he came in contact with. He loved his kids and his family, and he valued the many many people that he developed friendships with during his lifetime. He left us too soon, but he is at peace with God. Brett will be sorely missed but never forgotten.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday June 24, 2023 from 12:00 to 3:00 at: Lodi Japanese Community Hall,
210 East Elm St, Lodi CA 95240
An RSVP would be very much appreciated but not required. Send to Brett's Mom (Scottie): [email protected]

I would like to share a brief comment about my memories of Brett. We were childhood friends who grew up together from kindergarten to 8th grade, and our friendship remained strong throughout those years. Recently, Brett's mom reminded me of a special activity we embarked on together.
It was a class project aimed at sponsoring a family for Christmas. Our class voluntarily collected food for a festive Christmas dinner and toys for the children. Brett wholeheartedly embraced this project, driven by his selflessness and desire to provide the best Christmas possible for a family we didn't even know. I vividly recall the days we spent riding our bikes all around town, visiting local businesses, and collecting donations. The sense of pride we felt on the day we presented these gifts to the family was immeasurable.
Reflecting on this experience, I am reminded of Brett's remarkable selflessness and his genuine joy in helping others. Life eventually led us in different directions after those formative years, but whenever I think of Brett, it is these qualities that I hold dear: his selflessness, kindness, and, above all, his friendship.
As we remember him, let us carry forward his legacy by embracing acts of kindness and selflessness. Brett, you will always be missed, but your spirit will forever live on in our hearts

Randy I'm not sure if you remember me. I was one of Danny's best friends. I received this message from Suzanne Mojhor who lives in Lodi and graduated with me at Rio High.
Although I did not know your son I still would like to convey to you my sincerest condolences. Sounds like you're son was a wonderful person.
I currently live in Gilbert, Arizona.
Take Care and may God Bless you and your family.
Sincerely
Johnny Palacio
