Claudine Jane (Hieb) Seibel

1947 - 2025

Claudine Jane (Hieb) Seibel went to her heavenly home on February 11, 2025. She was born July 10, 1947 and raised in Lodi, Ca. by her parents Clifford and Armeta Hieb. She was the oldest of 4 children. She attended schools in Lodi at Nichols. Needham, and Lodi Union High school where she graduated in the class of 1965. She also attended Delta College.
During her early school years her jobs consisted of babysitting, working at Woolworths in Lodi at the lunch counter, and for several different caterers alongside her mom.
Claudine and Loren were married on December 30, 1966 at Bethel Open Bible Church in Lodi before Loren went into the military service. After attending college she worked at Bank of America in Stockton, CA and then at Chase Chevrolet Dealership.
Claundine's last employment was at Lodi Memorial Hospital in Lodi where she worked in office department positions for 47 years before retiring.
Claudine and Loren cruised on several different cruise lines over the years with family and friends. She even put together large group trips. Destination cruises included Alaska, Mexico, Canada, Nova Scotia, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, Grand Cayman Islands, Cozumel, St. Martin. Aruba, Columbia, Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, She also loved traveling the west coast from Southern California to the Canadian border. Some of her favorite spots were Monterey, Carmel, San Francisco, trips to Lake Tahoe, Yosemite, and Palm Springs. Claudine was a big Giants fan and attended their home games. She also enjoyed attending the theaters in San Francisco. Her travels in the U.S. included Northwest, Southwest, Texas, Florida and North Eastern States.
In earlier years when her daughter was in the High School band (color guard) Claudine and Loren became Band parents. Claudine stayed involved volunteering with the Lodi/Tokay band reviews committee even after their daughter went to UC Santa Cruz College, Claudine was involved for 35 years with the committee.
Claudine was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Lynette Seibel of Santa Cruz and brother Calvin Hieb of Lodi.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years Loren Seibel, sister Cindy Spurr(Texas), Mari Ann Hieb (Washington), son Scott Seibel (Samantha), grandchildren Robert, Hannah, Isabelle, Benjamin. Claudine will truly be missed by family and friends.
