CRAIG DILLINGHAM

Craig Dillingham, 79, of Lodi CA entered into rest Dec. 11th 2025. Craig was born in Sacramento, CA on Sept 3rd, 1946. Being an Air Force Brat he lived all over the United States as a child. His father Lt. Col. Earl Courtney Dillingham ultimately retired in Sacramento CA with the family. Craig attended El Camino High School class of 1965 (GO EAGLES) where he met & later married the love of his life Jeanette Stedman on Feb. 1st 1969. They both graduated from Sacramento State in 1970. Craig earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Resources and served in the US Forest Service at Lake Tahoe. He was also a Sheriff reserve in Sacramento County. In 1973 they welcomed their first daughter Laura Kathleen (Lodi Laura), it was after that that he became San Joaquin County's first Chief Park Ranger & they moved to Lodi. In 1977 they welcomed their second daughter Amy Alice (little red). He went on to be an investigator for the county District Attorney's office at the Child Support division until his retirement in 2004. Craig loved to hike, climb mountains, camp, fish, hunt, & do anything that involved nature. Craig & Jeanette played many co-ed sports together over the years & boy did we love dad's short shorts! The true joy of his life was his family. He loved watching his children & grandchildren grow & being an integral part of their lives was always his priority.
Craig is predeceased by his parents Lt. Col. E.C. & Audrey Dillingham, his sister Darryl Dillingham, & his favorite in-laws, Clark & Alice Stedman. He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Stedman Dillingham, his daughter Laura Misasi, son in law, Aaron Misasi, daughter Amy Dillingham, his brother Courtney Dillingham (Kathy), sister Teresa Dillingham, nephews Joel & Tyler Dillingham & JB Dodge, niece Courtney Main, & the JOYS of his life…his Grandchildren Mia Misasi, Emma Misasi, Connor Andrade, Cole Haro, Addison Haro, Saben Van Steenburg, & Bryan Fraenza.
We would also like to sincerely thank Dad's Amazing Hospice nurse Sabrina Andrade & our Wonderful friend DeDe Brooks for guiding us through it all.

A visitation will be held on Monday, December 29th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Lodi Funeral Home, 725 S. Fairmont Ave, in Lodi. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 30th at 11:30 a.m. at Lodi Funeral Home, followed by a committal at Cherokee Memorial Park, Hwy 99 & Harney Ln, in Lodi. A reception will follow at Waterloo Gun & Bocci Club, 4343 N. Ashley Ln in Stockton.
