David J Boliou passed away on June 26th, 2024 at the age of 74. He was preceded in death by his parents Perrie C Boliou, and Ruth J (Weitzel) Boliou. David is survived by his former wife and good friend Lois (Bertsch) Boliou, his sister Diana L Mueller, his son Brett D Boliou, daughter-in-law Alla Boliou, and grandchildren Janelle and Zachary Boliou.
David was born in St. Paul, Minnesota. He graduated from St. Paul Park High School, in St. Paul Park, Minnesota in 1967. In 1999, he furthered his education at California State University, Stanislaus, earning a MA in Secondary Education.
David dedicated nearly 20 years to the banking industry, primarily with First Bank System (now US Bank) in Minnesota and North Dakota. Following his time in banking, he spent 20 years teaching High School Mathematics with Stockton Unified School District in Stockton, California.
In his free time, David enjoyed hunting and camping in the Upper Midwest. He was an avid reader, staying informed on local, national, and international events. He found peace and solace in sitting by an outdoor fire, gazing up at the stars and admiring the beauty of God's creation.
Above all, David's greatest joy in life was his unwavering devotion to his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
