We enjoyed having Gene as a neighbor for the last 20 years. Even after he moved to Arbor, we would stop by to visit, and take him out to lunch or dinner. He treated us to lunch one time, with him and one of his buddies, at the dining hall. Like he said, "the food is good, but they just don't feed you enough." That's Gene.
We would like to express our sympathies to the family.

Dear Marvin and Family,
I am sorry to hear about your father's passing. Gene was a great man to work with at the Post Office. The last time I saw him and his wife was when I was delivering mail at Jack in the Box. I always found your father to be very kind and calm and a great man.
Sincerely,
Kelly Comporato.
