1936 - 2024

Larry L Lorenz, 87, of Lodi, CA, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, Larry L. Lorenz was born in Stockton, Ca. to Fred and Ida Lorenz on October 19,1936. He attended Lodi High school. He married Patti L. Lorenz. His loving wife was the Love of his life. They loved to dance and enjoyed each other as best friends until her final days. Dad served as the Deputy Chief of Lodi Fire Department for 28 years. Stories he would tell. The guys that went out to fight fires with him always stated that when they went out to fight fires, they knew they would be coming back home because Chief Lorenz had their back. He kept them safe. He served in the Air Force as a Mechanic Tech. engineer. He was a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed sharing stories with friends and family.
Larry "Pop" is survived by his grandson Dustin L. Gillis of Lodi and other family members.

Per his request, there will be no services. We the family have created a Memorial Service plaque in the Garden of Freedom at Cherokee Memorial Park in his honor.
