I did not know Lisa personally, but as a Lodi teacher, I had heard that she instilled a love of our science, wonder, and the environment in her students; that she was beloved by her students. I know how badly it hurts to lose a parent at such a young age, and I pray for her boys and family. It cuts like a knife, losing a your Mom at this age. You´ never get o over it, but just ask God to help get you through it., I hope it comforts you to know that your Mom can now Rest in peace,And boys, be assured that Lisa will always be in your hearts,

Lisa was a kind and dedicated teacher. She loved to treat her students and plan fun activities for them. When I started teaching at Millswood Middle, Lisa was the first person to make me feel welcome and connect with me. We had a lot in common and I was so lucky to have her in my life. She was a great friend, good listener and helper, and a wonderful source of advice, experience, and ideas. We will miss you so much at school Lisa. Keep an eye on us from above. -Bret

Lisa was not only my younger sister but also my best friend. She was so brave and courageous as she tried her best to battle cancer. It was amazing to see the love and support that she received from so many people over this past year from the best of friends, family, coworkers, neighbors, and even strangers. She had some outstanding nurses and health care providers who made a huge difference with their care and compassion. I want Bryson and Jaden to know that they are surrounded by this same huge circle of love and their mom will be watching over them for the rest of their lives. We will all remember her happy, fun loving, adventurous attitude even in the most difficult of times. Lisa is also my hero and I will miss her every day!

I did not personally meet Lisa but my daughter Bret Erickson was a friend of Lisa´s and a fellow Science teacher at Millswood Middle School. We learned of Lisa´s battle with Appendiceal from my daughter Bret and we donated to her Go Fund Me that Bret helped her create. We learned just a few weeks later that our other daughter was also diagnosed with Appendiceal Cancer. Our daughter and our family is now fighting Appendiceal Cancer. What a brave, beautiful and wonderful human Lisa is. I am so sad about and sorry for your family´s loss of Lisa. We will make a donation, in Lisa´s memory, to a local pet shelter. Fly Lisa fly!

Lisa was such a loving friend and my heart will always be filled with wonderful memories of our special times together. God blessed us all by having you in our lives.
I will be watching for the blue butterfly.
