Mae Marraccini Obituary

Mae B. Marraccini, age 79, passed away peacefully at her residence in Stockton on Decembeer 15, 2012. She was born on January 20, 1933 in Isabella, Oklahoma, and has been a resident of Stockton her whole life.
Mae had retired from Alpine Orthopedics after 15 years. Previously she had worked at St. Josephs Medical Center in the Radiology Dept. as well as volunteering with the Auxiliary. A member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Stockton, she enjoyed gardening, cooking, housekeeping, humming birds, and traveling, especially to Disneyland.
Mae is survived by her husband, Ben Marraccini of 60 years; her 3 children, Nancy Marraccini-Suares and her husband, Barry, of Stockton, Michael Marraccini and his wife, Penny, of Granite Bay, and David Marraccini of Stockton.
She is also survived by her 4 grandchildren, Ricky Purviance and his wife, Edith, of Stockton, Alex Suares, and his girlfriend, Allison, of La Mesa, Steven Marraccini of Granite Bay, and Gina Marraccini of Granite Bay; 2 great-grandchildren, Ashley and Dominic Purviance of Stockton; 1 sister, Dolores Haines of San Jose, and several nieces and nephews. Mae was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Beatrice (Fisher) Ethridge; 3 sisters, Margaret Carroll, Maxine Kooken, Grace Dodd; and a brother, Ernest Ethridge, Jr. (Sonny).
Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 19, 2012, from 4:00 P.M to 7:00 P.M. at Lodi Funeral Home and funeral services will be on Thursday, December 20, 2012, at 10:00 A.M. Burial to follow at Cherokee Memorial Park in Lodi.
