Marjorie 'Sue' Moore
1921 - 2021
Marjorie "Sue" Moore, 89, slipped away to be with the Lord on November 10, 2021.
Sue was a long time resident of Lodi. In 1986 she transferred from Southern California to open the new Certified Grocers Distribution Center in Stockton. She retired in 1997 and that is when her real fun began.
Sue became a tireless citizen of her community and the world. She was an active member of the Lodi Ave. Baptist Church (now Calvary Lodi), where she taught Sunday School for many years and assisted with numerous local outreach programs.
She volunteered as a counselor at the Pregnancy Resource Center (now Directives Medical Clinic for Women) offering loving support for young women in difficult situations. Sue loved to travel and she enjoyed many vacations with family and friends. However, her most rewarding travel was sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the world with International Commission.
In 2015, Sue moved to Southern California for family support. She is survived by her daughter, Lana Canova; grandchildren, Ginny Smith and Tobby Morris; and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son, Larry Moore in 2007. She was a loving mother and grandmother, and we will miss her everyday.
Please share your stories of remembrance on Tuesday,  November 30, 2021 at Calvary Lodi Church at 10:30 AM. Lunch will be served directly following the service in the Fellowship Hall.

Ms. Sue, A beautiful woman of God, she and Ione Lugg were an amazing team teaching me about Jesus. It has been so long ago now, but a vivid memory of the two always together sharing the Love of Jesus.
