MaryEtta Sheridan

1937 - 2025

MaryEtta Sheridan passed away on December 03, 2025, in Stockton, California. She was born in Bowdle, South Dakota to Dan B. Mertz and Jeanette Mertz on September 18, 1937. MaryEtta graduated from Lodi Academy. She then worked in the dental field until she retired.
MaryEtta enjoyed spending time with her friends, as well as watching Joyce Meyer, various cooking shows, and football; especially the 49ers. She loved being with her Bichon Frise, Bo. She and her longtime boyfriend, Billy, enjoyed spending time at the Lodi Elks Lodge, in Woodbridge, where they had many, many friends.
She is preceded in death by Billy, her "mother and daddy" and her brother Kenneth J. Mertz, DDS, who she lovingly called "Andy."
She is survived by her two daughters, Jeanne L. Sheridan and Sherri Swanson, as well as her three grandsons Logan Swanson and wife Ava, Wyatt Swanson, and Hayden Swanson.
Funeral services will be at the grave-site at Cherokee Memorial Park & Funeral Home on December 27, 2025, at 10:00AM.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00AM at the Elk's in Woodbridge on December 27, 2025.
