Preston hired me to clean stalls at Palo Verde estates. That was in 1977 when I got out of the US Army Infantry Honor Guard Ft Myer (Caisson Platoon) Horse Unit in Arlington Nat. Cemetary. I helped him move stalls up to Lodi, and he offered me a job at His Brothers mobile house unit company, He also got me a job as a Ferrier. He wanted me to live on a property up there free of charge, and flood irrigate the land. I made a mistake of not taking the job. I never forgot that wonderful man and his wife. I was from PA, and now Florida. I always missed him. My mother also Passed on Jan 16th 2018. I am Catholic and promise I will pray for him for the rest of my life.

Enjoyed having Preston as a neighbor. We `planted´ our flagpoles together and often had donuts and conversation for breakfast. It was always pleasant. I always learned something new - like that he had dug all the fence post holes for their property by hand. If you see his muscular build, you´ll see the result of all that hard work.
I´ve missed him since we moved away. May he rest in the peace and calm he always shared.

Let me start by saying that I will personally miss Preston. He always treated me like I was family. I worked for the school district which where I met Kathy. He was such a great husband/father and friend. I will miss your big smile. We will all look after your family. RIP until we meet again.
