Shirley Souza Obituary
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 65 years, Frank Souza, daughter, Diana Kooger, grandsons, Johnny and Jesse Warmerdam and siblings Richard Weigum and Norma Plines. She is survived by her son, Frank Souza (Loree), daughter, Kathy Souza, 6 grandchildren, 12 great-grand children and we must not forget her adorable dog, Mikey.
Shirley grew up in Victor on the Weigum family vineyard. She attended Victor Elementary School and Lodi High School. She married the love of her life, Frank Souza, and they made their home in Lockeford, where they raised their three children. After the kids were grown, they started the Frank Souza and Son dairy in Lodi, which they later moved to Mariposa.
Upon, retirement, they moved back to Lodi in 1998. They enjoyed spending time with their children and grandchildren at their cabin in Dorington. Nothing meant more to her than spending time with her family. She will be truly missed.
A graveside service for Shirley will be held Thursday, September 29 at Cherokee Memorial Park at 11:00am.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Jude's.

I´m so sorry to hear the news Kathy ,Loree and Frankie about Shirley, my sister called and let me know what happen. She was the last of the group. I remember when I was little, Shirley and Frank, George and Betty, and my mom and dad always playing poker.Or just taking a ride up to Lockeford and visiting. May she Rest In Peace.
