STEPHEN PITTAVINO Obituary

Stephen L. Pittavino passed away unexpectedly on Oct. 4, 2025 at the age of 78 yrs., after a long illness.
He will be deeply missed by his loving partner Sharon Van Iderstine; son of the late John and Sira Pittavino.
Leaves also cousins and many friends. Steve was proud of his Italian Heritage and will be missed by his loving extended family in Italy.
A native of San Francisco ; graduate of St. Michael's grammar school, Saint Ignatius H.S., graduate of USF completing his BA. Interned at UC Davis School of Medicine in Community-Clinical Psychology.
Completed his studies at University of Wyoming where he received his PH.D. in 1978.
Steve had a successful private practice as a Clinical Psychologist for 40yrs. In Napa, Calif. and also specializing in Forensics.
Three of his enjoyments were the fellowship he shared with "Club 65", "Insight Meditation Group" every Saturday, and looked forward to his weekly Tai Chi practice in Lodi.
Not to mention Taco Mondays!
Steve was a dog lover, avid cyclist, who loved fishing and hiking. His retirement years brought him new friendships and new adventures.
In his memory a Celebration of his Life will be held in Lodi on Nov. 8th, 1pm at Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home in the J. Charles Irwin Reception Center.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
