My condolences go out to Ted's family. I lived across the street from Teddy and Cynthia on S. Sacramento Street. My sister, Linda, and I use to play in the street in the evenings with them (was a dead-end street at the time). My mother, Venita, was friends with Ted's mother. I lost my parents some time back and my sister just last year. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

My name is Eddie Alcombright and I have known Ted Wojnar ever since I was about 7 years I am 59 now. Ted was my brother Cliff Pettyjohn's best friend and one of mine also. I started working with Ted at Oak Ridge Vineyards when I was around 26 years old until I was 40 years old. He was one of the best guys I've ever known to this day. A hell of a worker and a fun guy to be around. His supervisor skills were phenomenal and taught me as I am working as a supervisor for the Department of Water Resources and how to be with many people to this day. Ted taught me how to play baseball and we did a lot of fishing together and camping went to basketball games and he loved to go and look at muscle cars with me and my brother back in the days. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends during this time. Ted made this world a better place.

What would I like to say about Ted? Oh my, the thoughts and memories are swirling in the stunned sadness of my mind! I only worked with Teddy for a little over 5 years at Oakridge. I worked in the lab so we had a lot of interaction and we were constantly bickering like kids. He was my brother from another mother and we use to call each other brother and sister. Ran into Ted about a year ago and it was as if we had just seen each other. What a beautiful soul!! To the family Ted spoke often with love and caring about his family. Even though I had only met Timmy, I feel I know you all. Wishing all of you strength and peace to get through the coming days.

Ted & I started at East Side Winery at the same time. I enjoyed working with him all those years and have lots of good memories.
May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

I worked with Ted at Oakridge for 20 years. He generally had a smile on his face. I was sad to read about his passing this morning.
