I continue to tell the story today from 1984 when Virgil was the kind man who owned a duplex and rented to a nice young family. That family was us. We didn't even have enough money for the entire deposit all at once so he let us make it in two payments and every year he would show up at our doorstep with a check for the interest for the year from the deposit money. We have never forgotten the man who gave us a chance to rent a 3 bedroom so our children could each have their own room and not live in a tiny little apartment. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire family.

Dorothy & Family,
May the Lord comfort you during your time of loss. May the loving memories warm your hearts, that way he'll never really be gone. I remember he had had the greatest smile (next to my Dad, Bill Callis).

Dear Dorothy and Raggi Family, Please accept my deepest sympathy at the passing of Virgil. I remember him very well from my childhood, as he and my dad (Ed "Oxy" Ehrhardt) served on the police force together and he thought very highly of him. May you find peace in the fact that he lived a good life and he was such a great influence on so many people. God Bless...
