William Valencia Obituary

William Escamilla Valencia passed away on January 19, 2018 with his family by his side. He was born on September 23, 1960 in French Camp, California. He was one of ten children born to Alejandro and Soledad Valencia.
He met the love of his life, Genevieve at the age of 11 while attending weekend summer school. Seven years later they married on June 30, 1979. Together they have four children and eight grandchildren.
William loved taking family vacations to Disneyland, the beach, Lake Tahoe, camping and later in life spending time at Jackson Rancheria to catch the Friday night all you can eat special. William served in the Army National Guard from 1978 to 1985. He enjoyed telling family and friends of his many adventures while serving in the Guard.
William's passion was spending time with Genevieve, his children, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and countless family members and friends. He was a Los Angeles Ram fan to the end as well as a fan of the Los Angeles Dodgers. William spent his free time devoted to his wife Genevieve, volunteering at church where he shared his love for evangelism, fishing, talking about football, watching the Rams with his son and grandsons and playing games with his grandchildren.
William is survived by his four children and spouses, Roxanne Babcock (Gary Babcock) of Galt CA, Katherine Seabolt (Dustin Seabolt) of Clovis CA, William Valencia II (Eileen Valencia) of Galt CA, and Jennifer Fell (Dallan Fell) of Lodi CA, eight grandchildren Avery, Kylie, Bailey, Aidyn, Scarlett, Ethyn, Stella and Lilyan.
He is proceeded in death by his Parents Alejandro and Soledad Valencia and two brothers Art and Carlos Valencia.
