DELBARTON, W.Va. — Ruby Hall Maynard Mahon, 70, of Delbarton, went to be with the Lord Thurs., April 3, 2014, at Cabell County Hospital following a lengthy illness.
Born June 14, 1943, she was a daughter of Earl and Dora Brown Hall of Delbarton. Also preceding in her death were sisters, Viola Hall and Camma Hall Hatfield; brothers, Freeland Hall and Earl "Dunk" Hall Jr. and three grandchildren, Crystal Bell, Aaron Dowdy, and Chance Bell
Ruby loved to enjoy life and to be simple. She loved to shop, bingo, cruise, and spoil her grandchildren.
Survivors include her sisters, Antha (Dewey) Mahon of Delbarton, Nettie Hall Davis of Ragland, Bertha (Claude E.) Halstead of Peytona, Sarah Hall (Gene) Bell of Rock Hill, S.C., Effie Hall (Talmadge) Harper of Parrish, Fla., and Emagene Hall (Dale) Newsome of Lenore; her children, Harold Mahon Jr., Theresa Mahon (Terry) Bell, Connie Sue Mahon, Timothy Dale (Catherine) Mahon, Kathryn Mahon (Jack) Bell, and Lucinda Mahon (Buster) Mays, and grandchildren, Donna Rutherford Keene, Amanda Rutherford Adkins, Tiffany Rutherford Sparks, Elaine Colegrove, Michelle Bell, Daniel Bell, Sean Bell, Melissa Mahon, Shannon Bell, Kathryn "Katie" Bell, Jackie "Elmo" Bell, Allison Bell, Kearstin Pilkins, and Cameron Pilkins. She enjoyed 16 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Mon., April 7, at Little Dove Baptist Church at Belo. Burial will promptly follow at Mahon Cemetery at Belo.
Visitation will begin after 6 p.m. Sunday at the church.
James Funeral Home of Aracoma is in charge of arrangements.
