Edna Knapp Obituary
Edna was born March 1, 1920 in Haydenville, Ohio to James Albert and Cora Mae Crane. She was a 1939 graduate of Logan High School and a member of the Ebenezer United Methodist Church.
Surviving are granddaughters, Wendy Jo Peyton of Shawnee and Kandy Lynn Knapp of New Plymouth; grandson Gary Knapp Jr. of New Straitsville; great-grandsons, Travis Michael (Paula) Peyton of Malta and Terry Ray Fout of Logan; and special friend Kathryn Person of New Straitsville.
Edna was preceded in death by her parents; husband Lawrence Harold Knapp, who passed away October 28, 1987; sons, Gary Lee Knapp Sr. and Kenneth Ray Knapp; brothers, George Emerson "Banny" Crane, Willard "Woody" Crane, Harry "Happy" Crane, and Dewey Crane; and sisters, Cora Patton, Susie Crane and Mercie Lehman.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 19, 2018 at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio. Burial will be in Smith Chapel Cemetery, Logan, Ohio.
Calling hours will be observed Wednesday, April 18, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
