Jerry Ganson Obituary
Jerry was born May 24, 1946, in Marion, Ohio to Orville and Esther Ganson. He attended Cornerstone Baptist Church; loved the Lord; enjoyed working with his hands and helping people; and loved his family very, very much.
Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Carol Ganson; children, Becky (Mark) Russell of New Plymouth, Mary Kearns of Rockbridge, and Brian (Toni) Ganson of Rockbridge; grandchildren, Jesse Russell, Grace Russell, Alyssa (Jeremia) Johnson, Jeremiah (Jonna) Kearns, Jessica (Rob) Nicholson, Ashley (Adam) Walz, Brianna (Tyler) Chandler, Luke (Emily) Ganson, Leah Ganson, and Hunter Ganson; 15 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Carol Cole of Marion and Charlotte Walters of Pennsylvania.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; several great-grandchildren in Heaven; and sisters, Beverly Elam, Gloria Dickason, Julia Siegfried, and Diane Miers, also several brothers-in-law.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, 2025, at the Cornerstone Baptist Church with Pastor Jim Walz officiating. Burial will be in Laurel Township Cemetery, Rockbridge, Ohio.
Calling hours will be observed from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 19, 2025, at the church, and from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, before the services.
Contributions may be made to Fairhope Hospice, Pickering House, and Cornerstone Baptist Church.
Arrangements are by the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio.
