Marion Riggs Obituary
He was born Oct. 19, 1935, in Long Bottom, Ohio, son of the late Ray and Mary Smith Riggs. Marion was married to Ellen S. Lewis Riggs, who survives.
He was a retired auto dealer, a member of the Hocking Hills Church, the Logan Rotary Club and the Paramuthia Masonic Lodge #25 F&AM. Marion loved to golf, almost as much as he loved his family.
He is survived by his daughters, Teresa R. (James) Johnson of Logan, Lisa R. (Jerry) Thomas of Logan and Stephanie K. (Charlie Miller) Riggs of Logan; grandchildren, April R. Johnson, Andrea Dougherty and Samantha Thomas; 10 great grandchildren; brother, David Riggs of Belpre, Ohio; sister, Rita (John) Mitchell of Amesville and his newest pet, Cora.
In addition to his parents, Marion was preceded in death by his brother, Gene Riggs.
Private graveside services will be held in Oak Grove Cemetery. Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the charity of your choice.

my mother used to babysit for the Riggs‘s when they first came to Logan and he started his car business. Their kids were really little long time ago. And I went to school with his girls is too older girls. I am so sorry for your loss. Please accept my condolences.
