We are devastated to hear of Scott's passing. Our relationship usually dealt with his bringing stone for our road - he was a master at this. However, Scott always made time to talk and share his views and wisdom and concern for us. Gone way too young. Our sincere condolences for his family and friends.

I grew up with Sharra and wish her family well during this difficult time and always. I remember Scott's generosity, kindness, and helpfulness to my family, particularly my grandparents, Hank and Geraldine LaFollette. May all three of their spirits rest in peace. May Scott's spirit of generosity and helpfulness live on forever in this life and the next.

I was shocked when I received the news of my young cousin's passing. I remember him living behind our grandparents' house on Front Street as I watched him grow up from a fun filled tot to a fun loving young man. My prayers go to the whole Courter family for our loss. May God be with you all.

Scott was a dear friend. Cullen and I both had known him since the 1970’s. He was a down to earth guy who was always so easy to talk with. Cullen had worked with Scott at O.D.O.T. and we had enjoyed some good times together at the union parties. May your fond memories bring you comfort. Scott will be missed but will live on in our memories.
Truly,
Cullen and Kellie Rutter
