Sandy Crispin

Sandy (Drustrup) Crispin Sandy (Drustrup) Crispin age 80 of Missouri Valley, Iowa passed away on Monday, December 5, 2022, at Longview Nursing Home in Missouri Valley, Iowa. Sandy was born March 5, 1942, in Harlan, Iowa to Don and Geneva Drustrup. Sandy graduated from Missouri Valley High School in 1960 and married Larry Crispin in October of 1960. She worked as a paraprofessional for Children's Square for several years and also worked as a cashier at Iowa Feed and Grain. Sandy enjoyed golfing, traveling, shopping and trips to the casino. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and attending their events. Sandy will be remembered by many as a vibrant, kind and beautiful person who loved to smile and have fun. Preceded in death by her husband Larry Crispin in 2017, son Terry Crispin in 2015, parents Don and Geneva Drustrup. Sandy is survived by her son Greg Crispin of Littleton, Colorado, and her daughter Ginger (Dave) Geise of Logan, Iowa, grandchildren Shelia Crispin of Salem, Oregon, Bailey (Cody) Hill of Logan, Iowa, Chase Crispin of Lincoln, Nebraska, Bo Geise of Logan, Iowa, and significant other, Bergan Johnsen, two great grandchildren: Cal and Lucy Hill. Funeral services were held December 10, 2022 at the Hennessey Funeral Home in Missouri Valley. Pastor Kyle Drown officiated. Chase Crispin was the pianist. Music selections included "How Great Thou Art" and "Peace in the Valley". Casket bearers were Bo Geise, Chase Crispin, Aaron Crispin, Adam Crispin, Cody Hill, and Bruce Crispin. Final resting place is Rose Hill Cemetery, Missouri Valley, Iowa. Memorials are suggested to: Longview Nursing Home activities department.
